Studio Backcountry is a design practice based in Naarm/Melbourne exploring object and furniture design. Specifically that which highlights new forms that are to be loved and lived with. 

Cam Morgan is a furniture designer and director of Studio Backcountry. His practice is characterised by a foregrounding of materiality, creating objects that are both functional and artistic in nature. By drawing on the principle of simplicity, Backcountry’s forms express a softness, clarity and a sense of charm.
